Precision Coil Spring is a world-class spring manufacturer with unique capabilities in exotic alloys and highly engineered formed products. Our services provide design support during the initial part specification and configuration, assistance with part manufacturability issues to control cost, and in-house life cycle and performance testing to meet requirements. Our engineering department has over one hundred years of experience in all aspects of design, manufacturing, and testing of spring, flat form, and wire formed parts.  PCS manufactures build-to-print spring products for key markets, such as Aerospace and Aircraft, Nuclear, Medical, Military/Ordnance, Computers and Electronics, Commercial, Defense, and Rail Transportation.  Combined with our sixty-plus years of experience forming parts out of exotic materials such as Titanium and Inconel, Precision Coil Spring provides the full service support the industry requires and is ready to assist in developing specific design configurations.

At Precision Coil Spring our engineers have the knowledge and experience to guide you through manufacturability process. It is standard practice for all requests for quotations to be reviewed by Engineering to determine if there are any design conflicts affecting the physical or functional requirements, reducibility, and tolerances. This analysis will eliminate any unnecessary operations that contribute to cost and add nothing to quality or performance of the finished parts. Examining the manufacturability of parts during the design phase will reduce costs and in many instances improve part quality and performance. PCS engineers stand ready to assist you with optimizing your space, weight, reliability, and cost parameters. 

Life cycle testing is an option offered by Precision Coil Spring that will provide information on how the part preforms and if it will meet specific application requirements.  We have eighteen spring testers, giving us the ability to test the part with the correct equipment so accurate results can be used to evaluate the parts performance.  We have the capability of performing cycle/fatigue testing in-house to verify actual performance against calculations.
